Garbage men make between 20-40k a year.

That is not a lot but hardly qualifies as slave labor.

If only you could create machines that put all of those people out of a job the world would be a much better place....

No but that is not relevant at all. I have a lot of skills and education that open a lot of doors for me.

Many people do not have the same kind of options.
