Hi all.

I made a discord chat bot using OpenAI's davinci-text-003 model and wanted to share it with you all.

I had originally intended to wrap ChatGPT like the other ChatGPT based projects but OpenAI made it a bit harder to call their backend so I was inspired and helped by a project from one of their employees to build my own.

The bot can create threads that are similar to the ChatGPT interface, and will respond to the user's messages in that thread. It will remember the messages from the user and continue the conversation. It can also respond to pings in the channel and DMs (if you have an OpenAI API key).

It can do pretty much everything ChatGPT can do but it's a bit more approachable and humanlike.

A lot of people have shown interest in it already and it is quickly using up a lot of OpenAI tokens. I made it so that people can use their own API keys so that it can scale much better now.

I have decided to make the project open source so that others can build their versions if they like.
