Will the renters experience the same issues?

The link is the sign-in link.

It's not a paywall, it's a bad link though.

And there is nothing in Substack with that title as a search term. Maybe a ploy to juice signups?

This has been predicted as one of the higher-paying jobs that will remain after AI takes the lower-value ones. Entirely human touch, and while someone can crank out many many sex bots eventually, humans will retain cache. Of course the profession is more lucrative for the more physically attractive (and intellectually attractive), but the same is true for many fields. Unfortunately, the elite market is going to be for those who own the AI, while the basic market will be open to those dependent on UBI.

Also my theory:

In a very far future when AI & robots have taken over, call girls will be among the by far highest earners across all jobs. That is not going to be tomorrow or in 10 years, therefore "in a very far future", but its clear that this will happen (unless other effects like prohibition of that business may kick in)

It sort of happens with prohibition too. And illicit activities have higher price tags than licit ones.

I think the was already understood. Anyone remember the 'companion' in the show Firefly?

Why? Wouldn't it be the opposite? If people are just gonna roleplay having an actual relationship, robots can do that cheaper and better in the future.

Isn't this just a rollback to emperors and concubines with new names? Musk already has something like 14 concubines that we know of. Probably a lot more we don't. Late stage capitalism is truly something else.

This disclaimer is a tell that they intentionally do this and their lawyers don't want them to get sued .

Both can be true. I'm not going to apy to find out if the openings are real, stale, or just up to satisfy some appearance of job openings.

Corruption that concentrates on one party whether that party is in or out of power, too.

Post title misses the "AI datacenters" component.

Of course OpenAI will ignore or downplay the real grassroots dissent. Data centers are approximately as desirable to live near to as landfills.

Title is too long to include both so the submitter probably cut it off (I tried submitting it myself)

Using Tesla as a reference point for compounded stock value is interesting. From a price/earnings point of view, it's still sort of a meme stock.

Right on. This only works if you compare it to another extremely aggressively valued company.

Having read plenty of 1970's and 1980's sci-fi, I feel that clanker is the perfect term.

Even true things like the imminent award of an honor are "fake news" (Mark Twain Award, to Bill Maher). War crimes are, well, unseemly.
