Funny how he points the finger at everyone but himself.

the kind of attitude you really need to get your agents to delete your prod lol

Never.

Don’t even need a gambling marketplace for that - could already put a massive short on TSLA and have a pop at Elon if you were so motivated.

I don't think you even need to attack anybody to do this. Just have an AI media package ready for the top-N CEOs, and wait for any incident involving their name and "injured", "hospital", "attacked", etc. Then short the stock, go to social media and show the CEO being transported in an ambulance, or a gurney with a sheet over it, "X still missing", whatever.

Probably automatable, and simply counting on automated systems and panic selling. Might be possible just with the AI package these days (not even requiring a traditional media article).

Bizarre, but welcome, to see this article wholly unrelated to hackerdom on the front page.

My take is that Sayers quality just wasn’t good enough and still isn’t, and that all the buyouts gutted the heart out of the business.

As a scouser I choose Greggs over Sayers any day.

> My take is that Sayers quality just wasn’t good enough

If I'm thinking quality, Greggs isn't my first suggestion...

Books can go on it too. No matter the free storage space on my iPad, it relentlessly nerfs stuff to iCloud rendering its utility on long aeroplane journeys completely worthless.

A company holds the contract with the person. If the company has been put in the “hands” of an AI, then legally it shouldn’t make much of a difference. That company though is likely to have some humans on the documentation and articles, an AI can’t own the company.

I feel like the profit part is going to be a struggle.

Great writing and an enjoyable tale well told.

Hard to spin your supreme leader and all your generals and military commanders being flattened as a win.

The thing to remember about Iran is it's a country run by religious fanatics. Ask a secular democracy if they would trade the lives of most of their political and military leaders for a 10% boost to GDP and they would look at you like you're insane. Ask 86 year old Ali Khamenei if he would trade dying from an Israeli bomb landing on his house for Iran establishing a stranglehold on global oil trade and securing $100 billion in annual toll revenue, and he would have been ecstatic.

Yes, we basically pressed a magic button that eliminated two layers of leadership (as well as hundreds if not thousands of civilians). Now, what strategic objectives have we accomplished?

Call it a draw then. Which is crazy against the world superpower. And terrible for the US

do they matter if everyone else gets incredibly rich after?

the US killed an old man and his family, and also a bunch of people who'd already written all of their handoff docs

Not really that hard when the alternative is the regime collapsing and/or giving up their nuclear program?

A bunch of drones can’t be sent to knock out the American president and all its top generals and intelligence agents.
